Bino is a small design response to a big industry question: How can we reduce waste? Sustainability is not only about a product’s lifecycle - it begins with how things are made. By reusing scrap material from construction sites, the project quickly led to a bigger question. With the stool project Bino, Lea Pesch in collaboration with Folkk Studio explored efficient CNC cutting methods to produce stool components directly during or after wood processing. The parts fit together through precise pressure joints, creating a screwless object made from a single material.
